A place steeped in the history of nearly 100 years of duck hunting tradition that's been updated to provide modern amenities including private rooms, a reverse-osmosis water system, satellite TV, and full WiFi coverage.

Rich Island hosts hunts on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday in season.  The club boat picks members and guests up at McAvoy Yacht Harbor west of Pittsburg at 5pm on Tuesday afternoon for Wednesday hunts (returning to McAvoy's at 11am on Wednesday) and 2pm and 5pm on Friday afternoon for Saturday hunts (returning to McCoy's at 1pm on Saturday and again on Sunday for weekend hunts).  Many members keep private boats at McAvoy to support anytime runs over to the club - and are happy to provide a ride should you miss the club launch.

Once you've reached the club, drop your workweek duds in your room, put your dog in the kennel, stop by the bar to grab a refreshment and begin to think about what blind you'll draw after dinner for the next morning's shoot as you reconnect with friends and their guests prior to a communal dinner in the dining room.
